Top destinations to see in Europe this year

Planning a trip to Europe? With so many incredible countries to choose from, it can be difficult to narrow them down to just one or two options. Luckily, we’ve got a list of some of the top, must-visit destinations to see this year- whether you want to travel via bus or luxury catamaran:

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Take day trips to the many scenic areas nearby- including incredible waterfalls and the bluest water you’ve seen. Spend a day or two in Sarajevo and get to know the local people.

Hungary

Hungary is another country which is becoming increasingly popular. While Budapest has been a favourite for hen and stag parties for some time, many tourist are now heading down to Lake Balaton or choosing to explore the wine region in Hungary as well. This country is super central, and airlines like Wizz Air make it super easy and cheap to reach it from a number of other European countries.

Poland

Poland is one of those countries which often gets overlooked in favour of France, Italy, and Spain. But the food, the people, and the scenery here all make it well worth a visit. Warsaw is a modern city- since it was turned to rubble in World War II. There is tons to do here, and a low cost of living- making it a popular option for expats and digital nomads. Krakow’s old town is beautiful, and you’ll love wandering around and taking photos- be sure to try the local dumplings as well. Take a trip to Auschwitz while you’re so close- it would be a mistake to not visit.
