Bored? Here are some fun things to do this weekend

With Christmas around the corner, you may not feel like doing much in the lead up to the holidays, but now’s the time to make the most of your free-time, especially if you won’t have much time to yourself once all the family is around.

Here are some fun things to do this weekend:

Be an adrenaline junky

When was the last time you truly got that adrenaline flowing? Sometimes we get so caught up in day-to-day life that we forget how much fun it can be to step outside of our comfort zones. Grab a buddy and go skydiving, bungy jumping, whitewater rafting, scuba diving, or anything else that makes you feel like a total boss.

Catch up on Netflix

Have you watched enough Christmas movies so far this month? Or maybe you haven’t had a chance to see all those new shows which have come back? Let’s face it: Most of your family and friends are going to end up discussing their favourite shows at some point over the holidays, and you don’t want to be the only one who hasn’t seen Stranger Things. This weekend may be your last chance to chill out before the holidays, so grab some popcorn and a cozy blanket and curl up on the couch for some binge-worthy shows.

Earn some Moolah

If you haven’t yet heard, it’s possible to earn cash while you’re playing games online, you’ve been missing out. Check out Act10 Indonesia for some of the best games around- just don’t forget to gamble responsibly or you won’t be starting the New Year off with the best bank account balance.

Get outside

Sure, it may be freezing right now, but that’s no excuse to spend your entire holidays inside (unless you’re watching Netflix). Wrap up warm and go for a walk to get some fresh air (especially if you’ve been indulging in that holiday food). If it has already started snowing, why not get a group together and pretend you’re kids again- build a snowman or have a good old-fashioned snowball fight.

If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm for Christmas, you’ll have the beach calling you all holidays so it’s only fair to answer occasionally.

Get cooking

Have you always wished you could be a culinary genius? Sure, this is unlikely to happen overnight, but the holidays are a great opportunity to get in the kitchen. Look up some recipes for Christmas cookies, make some fudge or a pie, or go all out and help your family with the Christmas turkey or stuffing this year.
