It’s important to know your own worth and feel as if you are valued in your job, as if you don’t, you can end up depressed and find life to be meaningless.  There are some signs you can watch out for so you know when the time is right to make a change and we’ve listed them for you below:

Declining Health.

Your body is very clever. It can tell you when you’re feeling relaxed and happy as much as it can give you signals that something isn’t right. Your health going downhill is the first sign that your job is the wrong one. Stress leads to tension headaches, high blood pressure, loss of appetite and all manner of horrible feelings that lead to you being run down and ill. Listen to your body – you spend a lot of time at work and you cannot spend it feeling unwell.

The Money.

Your job may have a fantastic pay check that you won’t find in many other places, but if you are only staying in the role for that money to keep you going month to month, it’s not reason enough anymore. Money isn’t everything so don’t be afraid to pick up and move on to something that gives you joy.

No Passion.

Before you started your current role, you may have felt bright-eyed and bushy-tailed about it. If you no longer feel that passion, it’s absolutely time for a change. You can choose to find a new company or go into another field altogether like perhaps take an online msn nurse practitioner or if you are into developing  softwares, there are software engineering jobs available out there and do something different, and maybe you’ll realize that it is really the job that is meant for you.

You should feel stimulated by the role you are doing and if you don’t feel excited, you shouldn’t be doing it.
