4 Reasons to Visit Canada

If you’re never made the trip to Canada, then you’re missing out. Canada is home to some of the world’s best landscapes, incredible skiing, and extremely friendly locals.

If you’re looking for an excuse to add Canada to your itinerary for 2022, then keep reading to learn more about some of the best things you can do in Canada.

1. Whistler

We’re currently in the midst of the snow season, which means it’s the perfect time to visit Canada if you love snowboarding or skiing. Whistler is probably one of, if not the most, famous ski fields in the world. Beyond the ski fields, Whistler has a lot to offer families, from their zipline adventure in whistler, and their sea to sky gondola tour. Whistler village itself is very charming with cobblestones and wonderful restaurants and cafes lining the streets. No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll find plenty of things to do and quickly learn why it’s one of the world’s best alpine destinations. If you’re Booking Canada Holidays this year, you’ll want to include a trip to Whistler in your itinerary.

2. Quebec City
This is a city that feels like it should belong in Europe, but instead is in Canada! This French-speaking city is absolutely charming and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it is North America’s oldest street. Here you’ll find 400 years of history, and no matter whether you visit in winter or summer, you’ll notice it’s a lively place. Interestingly enough, Quebec City is the only walled city north of Mexico. Head to the Place Royale to see where Quebec was originally founded.

3. Niagara Falls
If you’re planning to visit Canada when it’s warmer, then this is something I’d put right at the top of your list. It can be very hard to visit during the cooler months, so that’s why I rate it as a summer destination. The best time to visit is June to August, and of course, the main attraction is to visit the waterfalls, but you can also have some fun in the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort and Marineland.

4. Banff National Park

There are so many wonderful national parks across Canada it may be hard to choose which ones to visit, but if you have to only pick one then you may want to consider Banff. Here you’ll find turquoise-colored lakes, striking glaciers, and during the cooler months, you’ll see the beautiful snow-capped mountains in the distance. The best times to visit are during the peak seasons, so either summer or winter. It’s a popular destination for both hiking and whitewater rafting.

Canada has so much to offer a traveler, that you may find it hard to leave. I know if you visit any of these attractions that you’ll fall in love with how gorgeous this country is.
