Don’t be a slob – follow these tips
We can’t all look perfect, no matter how hard we try. Yet, some people couldn’t care less.
You might have seen them on the street – those wrinkled, spotty masses who more closely resemble a distressed Edvard Munch painting than a healthy, functioning human being.
And even though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some people really take the biscuit when it comes to their appearance.
Don’t become one of them – use a few of our tips and you’ll stay looking fresh.
Know your lotions and potions
There are potions, lotions, concoctions and ointments – but so many of them are snake oil.
“Amazing results” are promised but seldom deliver. Instead, you’ll have a face that looks caked in lotion.
But for our money, cold plasma sub-d is your best bet for a healthier neckline. Rub it on and that double chin you’ve been harbouring will slowly ebb away.
Avoid the high street – grab some sub-d instead.
Bin the junk food
Do you feast on Domino’s pizzas most evenings, washing the junk down with gallons of Diet Coke and a few bars of chocolate? Then the root of your pimples and pasty face is clear.
If you want to look great, it’s time to ditch the junk and head for the scrumptious world of superfoods. And that doesn’t mean your meals have to be as dull as ditch water. To give meal times more pizzazz, add in a few tangy beets, zesty lemon juices or homemade pasta sauces.
You don’t have to chuck out your takeaways entirely. Have a night off where you can indulge in your favourite snacks – just don’t make it a habit.
Become a fitness fanatic
Working out can be a chore at the best of times – but it’s also the ideal way to gain the figure you desire.
If you’re struggling to pick yourself up from the sofa, then it’s time to bring in some safeguards that will get you active.
Start by finding music that will put you in an active mood. It might be your favourite album or a series of fantastic floor fillers – simply anything that will get you on your feet.
After that, it’s time to make that workout bite-sized. Start by exercising for a mere 15 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat but not long enough to wear you out.
Pretty soon, you’ll want to add an extra five minutes, and then another, until you’ve got a perfect regime.
Ultimately, beauty is still in the eye of the beholder. But with these tips, you’ll be able to look beautiful and healthy.
